Black and white is always a safe yet stylish combo and for good reason! White is crisp, especially in the summer, and we all know and love what black can do for your figure. I chose this peplum top to pair with these shorts because the longer back creates a flattering, elongating shape. If you are hesitant to try this style, select a soft fabrication so the peplum lays flatter to your body. If you’re more adventurous, go for a stiffer fabric for a more dramatic effect…and don’t forget your pearls, your gold or a little bit of both!
