Anytime I am stumped on how to reinvent a piece, I typically gravitate to shorts. No matter the season, there is almost always an appropriate option and they’re usually unexpected. Since it’s getting a bit warmer outside (finalllllly), I went sans tights but added boots. It keeps the look grounded and not too ahead of the season. If you’re looking to re-create this look with your own staples, you could opt for tights/leggings or kick it up a notch with a heel.
